Bangin'

I loved Jane Birkin's bangs. But even more-- I love Julia Stegner's bangs. So much so, I'm considering a self-administered trim myself. If I hate it, my hair grows so fast... The major draw back being how fussy they can be. I wash my hair twice a week and work-out everyday and my hair has gotten so long, I usually just wear it in a braid which might not complement bangs as much as tousled locks.

Thoughts?

Psychedelic Western Rose

The title sums it up. This is what I've been channeling. I've been reading Larry McMurtry's Sin Killer. Tasmin Berrybender is just such a spirited little fuck. I want a buffalo. And to run through prairies and stand still as stone in deserts. I stopped shaving my armpits. These photos were inspired by Fashionbater's boudoir shoot.

I bought all new sheets.

Cutting Deep

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, I found a pair of pants in a boring little thrift shop in Normal Heights. Now, these were no ordinary pants. They were Ralph Lauren Collection suede pants, as buttery soft as a baby's hiney. They were, however, a size 6, which is too big for me and they always fit a bit mom-ish. But, for six dollars I couldn't resist.

Perhaps you'll remember them from an outfit post from yesteryear.

Photobucket

Ah yes, there they are on the far left. Need a closer look?

Photobucket

There you have it. Last night, possessed and wielding a pair of scissors I made a few snips. Then this morning, I painstakingly hand-stitched a heart-shaped pocket on the butt. DIY or die, forever and always.

What's a post without a random mugshot?

That is what a boot addiction looks like, by the way.

And maybe a leather addict, too.

And a hat addict.

Part Four: Teepee Lyfe

Road trips are awesome because sometimes you see things like this and have to randomly pull over and shoot. Photos by M.

And then we hit the ol' dusty trail back to San Diego.

What an amazing trip it was. I can't wait to hit the road again.

Part Three: Blackbird in White Sands

When he wasn't playing around with the infrared camera or the polaroid (he's into experimental photography, ooh la la), I was able to twist his arm to shoot me. Here's the photos by M.

Part Two: To Infinity

These are the photos from my camera, thus no photos of me. (Except for the teaser at the end). White sands is an eerie, mystical, other-worldly land of 275 square miles of gypsum crystals (not sand). It glitters like diamond dust. And in the vast whiteness, it's so easy to get lost. Which we did.

But first, here's that first early morning light in a motel lobby.

You see now how easy it is to lose a white car at White Sands.

I think I just to just accept the fact that I am a nudist at heart. Why do I always want to take my clothes off?

Don't believe me? Check out my Tumblr! I post here everyday, mostly things that inspire me. Just a mega moodboard. But every once in a while it gets personal.
